@party-of-rpg-muses asked: Omutu sat at the top of one of Ul'dah’s outer walls, silently watching the desert region he called home. The threat of the Final Days seemed like a distant memory and the star was marching forward to a new age. However, he sensed a familiar face flying towards him. Turning his head towards the source, he instantly recognized that familiar blue bird. With a smile, he held an arm out to the side, giving Meteion a perch the land on.
As the small blue bird flew far and wide within the world she can finally call home, her sights had brought her upon the land of Ul'dah, a location she has yet to explore and one with some wary to keep on her mind. Although it wouldn’t affect her too badly, the place had become an ace in the desert.
Strong winds to the scorching sun above, even she would need to rest every now and then. However her worries may be, she soon started to sense that aura of familiarity. Soon coming to terms that it would be a dear friend of hers, Meteion had started to fly towards the source to find the warrior of light himself!
Now if only she could express her joy in seeing him again in that moment, she still needed to get near him to draw his attention regardless. But it only took him seconds to notice her blue form making her way over and when she noticed his arm out for her to land upon, she did so gracefully and carefully to not hurt his skin with her claws. “Friend!” Meteion chirped in delight.
“It is most joyous to see you again!” And to show how happy she is, she begins to fluff up.
When Lea was able to try and start catching his breath again, he didn’t even notice the door opening from the other side of the room nor the familiar face that had just entered as well. When Kairi’s voice finally brought him back to attention, he perked up and stood up straight, looking over his shoulder to see his young friend. “Oh- Kairi?”
A moment of pause as the smoke that was leaving his finger tips had started to disappear, Lea de-summoned his blade and turned around to face the princess fully. “Hey, didn’t notice you coming in.” And at the moment of what remained of the dummy, he only gave a shrug. “Nothing but a little bit of magic can do to fix that back up.” He couldn’t help but wonder just how long she’s been standing there however…
Rubbing the back of his neck, Lea only nodded in agreement upon the type of combo he was doing. “And yeah… Figured it would be a good set of attacks to use… Seeing as fire would be in my element.” Giving that he gained such a strength and resistance towards fire during his nobody days, he figured using what he got would still work in his favor.
“Anyways, did Yen Sid send you to drag me out of here?” How long has he been in this room for anyways?
If only Nahida saw the look he’s making. He didn’t seem to like the idea of giving this thing another chance, more so, how did it even get here in the first place without anyone spotting it? Hands on his hips, Kokoro let out a huff in response. “Now your giving it a gender?” What’s next? A pet-name?
Why does this even trouble him anyways? It’s not like… well, he’s in this situation right now… Though, before he was in a similar state after he was created… He frowned to himself at those memories. He always disliked the reminders of his past. “No, I don’t.” Finally an answer but not a very kind one at that.
